Study Series Session: Getting Readers Really Reading (For Real) – Donalyn Miller and Chad Everett

(November 9, 6PM) Donalyn Miller, author of The Book Whisperer and Reading In The Wild, and Chad Everett, member of The Educator Collaborative consulting network, lead this session on essential practices and mindsets for engaging all readers. Built upon decades of reading research and classroom practice, you will study the practical structures that guarantee all children read. Built on the belief that there are no “struggling readers,” instead just “dormant readers” waiting for the right books and right teachers to help them emerge, Donalyn and Chad’s session will leave you full of ideas and inspiration to make positive impacts on the lives of your readers… and soon-to-be ones, too!
