Study Series Session: Pairing Literacy and Technology to Open The Curriculum to More Diverse Perspectives – Katharine Hale and Dana Stachowiak

(December 7th, 6pm) Dr. Dana Stachowiak, Assistant Professor of Diversity/Multicultural Education, and Katharine Hale, an Instructional Technology Coordinator, are both members of The Educator Collaborative consulting network and will lead this inspiring session on looking deeper at instructional technology as an opportunity for more inclusive instruction. When integrated thoughtfully, technology can give access to a wide range of learners, literacy practices, and provide a richer, more diverse set of perspectives for students to read and interact with. More than simply using apps, this session will support you in thinking about the powerful ways access to technology can develop a more socially just learning community.
