Session 4 – Meaningful Classroom Management in Reading and Writing

Chad Everett, teacher and former district Disciplinary Hearing Officer and Elizabeth Lacy, teacher, former Assistant Principal, and current TheEdCollab member, lead this session on reaching every reader and writer in our room through meaningful literacy and respectful management practices. Join us for this hour on reflecting on our practices, confronting our own views on misbehavior, and gathering practical tips that help every child feel safe, smart and productive in our classrooms. Even if you feel sure your “management” is good, you will see your classroom in new ways and leave with strategies that not only raise work but also raise student self-esteem.
